Lisa - thank you. Recently, a friend and I discussed how much we dread Monday mornings. I, as a new mom to our first child, and she as a mom to 16 mos. old twins. We, too, need the gospel, more than we can imagine, or sometimes even want to admit. So thank you for sharing your heart and encouraging two fellow believers you don't even know, to run to Jesus.

I can so much relate to this. Really like this today, especially, "The good news that Jesus saves sinners isn't only for the exultant, jubilant, victorious moments of life. Nor, for that matter, only for the most desperate and tragic. It is also for the boring dailiness."

Comparison is such an evil snare, isn't it? When I compare myself to others who have more, I feel insufficient and short-changed. When I compare myself to those who have less, I feel guilty and yet somehow entitled to what I have.

Which is why I need the gospel!
